Intensive Residential Courses
For students who reside in areas not covered by a Personal trainer, we can offer an Intensive Residential Course at our Head Office based in North East Lincolnshire.
These courses are conducted by fully qualified O.R.D.I.T Trainers, all registered on the Official Register of Driving Instructors Training with the Driving Standards Agency.
Courses are tailored for the personal needs and requirements of each candidate and cover the essential subjects as listed below.
Part One Theory Test
The Student will be trained using distance learning and a Home Study Pack is provided dealing with the One Hundred Multiple Choice Questions together with a Hazard Perception Training Package.
Part Two Driving Test
Is a two day in-car driving course covering every aspect of the Part Two Driving Instructors Test as conducted by the Driving Standards Agency. This course is designed to raise driving skills to the high standard required to be a Driving Instructor. On conclusion of the course a brief outline will be given regarding Part Three Training.
Accommodation is provided for students attending the Part Two course if required and Freetrain will supply you with a subsidised fuel allowance.
Part Three Instructors Test
We provide Visual Aid Packs, Lesson Plans and full Briefings to enable you to conduct a positive and meaningful driving lesson for both your pupils and to successfully pass the Part Three Test.
The D.S.A Test is based on 10 Pre Set Tests each of these tests will be fully explained with practical training conducted in-car to raise skills and knowledge to the level required. Once attained through our Freetrain Training Course these skills and knowledge will enable you to commence your new career in the Driver Training Industry.
Over One Million new drivers are taught each year providing an enormous commercial potential for the successful Driving Instructor. This five day course will give you on-road success faster than any other training course of its type.
Continuing Career Development
After attending your Part One, Part Two and Part Three Training Courses you may return at any time free of charge, to re-sit any part or the full course to further your knowledge and skills. All re-sits are subject to seating and Instructor availability.
Accomodation
You will be accommodated in the Tudor Terrace Guest House or similar venues. All accommodation provided is of a very high standard and is included in the cost of your initial training course fee.
Travel Costs
Fuel costs for the Intensive Residential Courses for students who reside more than 40 miles away from the Training Centre will be subsidised by the Company. Full details of the travel cost allowance can be found in the information pack.
